Scheduled System Maintenance

​The Office of Information Technology (OIT) has been advised that UTSA Facilities will be conducting electrical maintenance in the McKinney Humanities Building (MH) beginning on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 and running throughout the day on Saturday, December 31, 2016. This maintenance will prohibit access to Internet, email, Blackboard Learn, I: and S: drives, and other network services from the MH during this timeframe. Network services in the remaining areas of the campus should not be affected.

OIT technicians were able to isolate the root cause of the issue and resolve the outage. Access to the UTSA network and applications is confirmed available.

The Office of Information Technology has received an update about the intermittent issue that is affecting telephone service from UTSA phones. Our vendor, AT&T, has confirmed that the service degradation is due to a fiber cut within the AT&T network. AT&T is working to identify the exact location of the disruption and resolve the issue but has not yet provided an estimated time for resolution. The Office of Information Technology will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as available.
